Benjamin Rubenstein (Col ’07) married Stefanie Cohen, a University of Maryland alumna, on Nov. 7, 2021. Though he happily moved to Maryland to live with her, he was pleased they wedded in The Better State.

Benjamin Rubenstein (Col ’07) had Secrets of the Cancer-Slaying Super Man, an illustrated book for teens and preteens, published by Woodley Books in October 2014. The book chronicles Mr. Rubenstein’s own journey with bone cancer and leukemia, showing how he created the delusion that he was superhuman as his survival technique. He wrote Secrets following his memoir, Twice: How I Became a Cancer-Slaying Super Man Before I Turned 21, so that young readers could hear his story of survival.
