Joyce Franklin

Joyce Franklin (Com ’87 CM) published Startup Wealth: The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Personal Financial Success and Long-Term Security. The book includes advice and anecdotes from more than 65 entrepreneurs, executives, venture capitalists and advisors—some of whom are McIntire School of Commerce graduates—on making smart financial decisions in all phases of a startup. Ms. Franklin, a certified public accountant and certified financial planner with more than two decades of experience in accounting and personal financial, tax and investment planning, is the founder of JLFranklin Wealth Planning. She is currently at work on her second book, Life, Liquidity & the Pursuit of Happiness: How to Maximize and Preserve Your Startup Wealth and Live Your Dreams, to be published in late 2014.
