Katie Cooper

Katie Cooper (Nurs ’00 CM) and Carlos Cooper (Col ’99 L/M) welcomed a son, Deacon Erik, on May 3, 2013. Deacon joins big sister Juliet Elizabeth, 5, and big brother Beckett Andrew, 4. The children are the niece and nephews of Daniel Cooper (Col ’07 L/M), Katherine Krueger Cooper (Educ ’07 L/M) and Andrew Cooper (Col ’09 L/M). The family resides in Franklin, Tenn., where Ms. Cooper is a nurse anesthetist for Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Mr. Cooper is a writer whose titles include Benjamin Dragon—Awakening, the first book in The Chronicles of Benjamin Dragon series, and The Corps Justice series.

Katie Berschback Cooper (Nurs ’00) and Carlos Cooper (Col ’99) welcomed their second child and son, Beckett Andrew, born on April 30, 2009. He joins sister, Juliet Elizabeth, 2. Ms. Cooper is a nurse anesthetist in Nashville, Tenn., and Mr. Cooper owns Oxford Property Management.
