Thatcher Stone

Thatcher Stone (Col ’78, Law ’82 CM) has earned both Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent rating for ethical standards and legal ability and Martindale-Hubbell’s Client Distinction Award for superior client service. Mr. Stone, a lecturer in the U.Va. School of Law, left a big-firm law practice in 2007 to launch a venture-funded insurance company. In 2009, he established his own litigation boutique focusing on aviation-related and commercial litigation. He relocated to Keswick, Va., in early 2013.
