Alison Rios Millett McCartney

Alison Millett McCartney (Grad ’94, ’00) was one of four editors of a new publication, Teaching Civic Engagement Across the Disciplines, which was featured at the American Political Science Association annual conference in San Francisco in September.

Alison Rios Millett McCartney (Grad ’00) co-edited a book, Teaching Civic Engagement: From Student to Active Citizen, with Elizabeth Bennion and Dick Simpson. The book was published by the American Political Science Association in February 2013. Ms. McCartney is an associate professor of political science at Towson University in Towson, Md., and former director of Towson’s international studies program.
