Richard Yates

Richard Yates (Col ’73, Educ ’75 CM) retired in 2009 after a 34-year career as a high school guidance counselor. Elected to the Colonial Heights, Va., school board in 2010, he served as the board’s vice chair in 2011 and became its chairman in January 2013. Mr. Yates has been a member of the board of directors of the Southside Health Education Foundation since 2009 and currently serves as its vice chair.
