Richard Birkel

Richard Birkel (Grad ’81, ’83) is vice president and director of the Self-Care Management Alliance, part of the National Council on Aging. Mr. Birkel previously served as chief executive of the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving and held the John and Betty Pope Distinguished Chair in Caregiving at Georgia Southwestern State University.
