Julie Dudley

Julie Dudley (Col ’82 L/M) left her job as an assistant United States attorney for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Virginia, on May 21, 2010, to become the clerk of court for the Western District of Virginia. She has worked as an AUSA since October, 1988—nearly 22 years. While with the U.S. attorney’s office, she litigated both civil and criminal cases and served as the United States Attorney from May 17, 2008, until October 15, 2009.  Over the course of her tenure, she also served as a branch office manager, chief of the civil division and first assistant U.S. attorney.
