Karen Vahouny

Karen Vahouny (Com ’78 L/M) was elected in January to the board of directors of the National Endowment for Financial Education, a Denver-based organization dedicated to building financial literacy. Ms. Vahouny is a founding partner of Washington, D.C.-based Qorvis Communications, an independent communications and public relations organization. She has also joined the faculty of Marymount University as an adjunct professor in the M.B.A. degree program. Ms. Vahouny and her husband, Dan Mondloch (Educ ’79) celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary and both of their sons attend college, one at U.Va. as a rising third year.
