Colin Hunter

Colin Hunter (Col ’04 CM) and his business partner, C. Peyton Jenkins Sr. (Col ’04 L/M), founders of the Alton Lane custom menswear brand, opened their 11th location, on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall, in October 2016. Mr. Hunter, who was an Echols Scholar at the University, is CEO of Alton Lane, and Mr. Jenkins, who was a member of the Honor Council, is vice president. The start-up company, which opened in New York City in 2009, combines 3-D body scanning technology and fabrics from fine European mills to create laser-cut, hand-stitched garments.
