Don Mitchell

Don Mitchell (Col ’98 CM) is chairman of the division of languages and literature and associate professor of English at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. He continues to serve as co-chair of the International Conference on the Blues with his wife, a music professor at Delta State. He is a former president of the Delta State University Faculty Senate, and he is the public address announcer for the Delta State Fighting Okra football and basketball teams. Mr. Mitchell and Ms. Collins are the proud parents of a six-year-old son.
