Richard Deaner

Richard Deaner (Col ’94) has received the 2016 University System of Georgia Board of Regents’ Teaching Excellence Award, the highest honor for faculty at public universities in Georgia. He also received Augusta University’s Outstanding Teaching Award in 2013 and the President’s Special Merit Award from the Southern Association for Counselor Education and Supervision in 2012. Mr. Deaner is a professor of counselor education at Augusta University.
