Lauda Harmon (Nurs ’04) and Jakob Harmon (Engr ’04, ’11 L/M) welcomed a son, Stephan Somerled, on Feb. 11, 2015. He joins brother Erik. In May 2015, the family relocated from Phoenix to Germantown, Maryland, where Mr. Harmon works for Comtech EF Data.

Lauda Harmon (Nurs ’04) earned a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University in December 2011. He and Lauda Hartman (Nurs ’04) were married on March 24, 2012, in Charlottesville. The couple welcomed their first child, a son, Erik Johann, in March 2013. The family resides in Phoenix, where Mr. Harmon is an electrical engineer with Comtech EF Data.
