Joseph Decosimo

Joseph Decosimo (Col ’73 CM) has been named Chattanooga Area Manager of the Year for 2015. Local business groups recognized Mr. Decosimo for his efforts at leading Chattanooga’s biggest accounting firm, Joseph Decosimo and Co., and its merger with South Carolina’s largest accounting firm, Elliott Davis. He previously served as managing partner of Joseph Decosimo and Co., and is now office managing shareholder in the Chattanooga office of accounting firm Elliot Davis Decosimo. He has served as chairman of the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber Foundation and is a board member of the national Ethics and Public Policy Board in Washington, D.C. He and his wife, Karen, have three sons, including David Decosimo (Col ’01).
