Amanda Wright (Col ’07 L/M) married Colin Burns on Sept. 3, 2011, in Richmond, Va., at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church. The reception was held at the Jefferson Hotel. The wedding party included Camden Janney (Col ’07), Deirdre McGuigan (Col ’07 L/M), Jordan Gravely (Arch ’07 L/M), Sara McLinden (Engr ’07 L/M), Mamie Belle (Col ’07 L/M) and Sara Barton (Col ’07). The couple resides in Dothan, Ala. Ms. Wright is a graduate student at Troy University and Mr. Burns is a nuclear engineer for Southern Co.

Amanda Wright (Col ’07 L/M) is an event planner for the Educational Leadership Center for Wiregrass, an educational non-profit located in Dothan, Ala. The organization focuses on improving leadership and learning in the Wiregrass area public schools. Ms. Wright also volunteers at the Wiregrass Humane Society and is a member of Dothan Area Young Professionals.
