Nicole Hardin Brakstad (Col ’02 L/M) and her husband, Brandon, welcomed their first child, Ava Nicole, in October 2011. The family resides in Hanover County, Va., where Ms. Brakstad is an attorney at LeClairRyan and Mr. Brakstad is a teacher and football coach at Hanover County Public Schools.
