Renee Gutiérrez

Renee Gutiérrez (Col ’84, Grad ’97, Grad ’08 CM) has joined the Longwood University faculty as an assistant professor of Spanish. Previously, she taught at Hiram College in Ohio. Ms. Gutiérrez plans to continue focusing on dual areas of research: she has recently published articles on 18th-century Spanish epic poetry and on the qualitative studies of student learning processes during immersed study abroad.
