Ginger Cahoon (Col ’79 CM) recently retired as deputy chief of the relay satellite division in the space systems group of the communications directorate of the National Reconnaissance Office in Chantilly, Va., after working for the federal government in various capacities since 1980. She began her career as a cartographer with the Defense Mapping Agency/Hydrographic Topographic Center, preparing various charts to support navigational missions, and later worked for other offices in the DMA and then for the CIA before returning to finish out her career with the DMA and the NRO. She lives in Fairfax, Va., with her husband, Bob; and their two children, Rachel and Robbie.
