Dial Parrott

Dial Parrott (Grad ’76, Law ’80) published his first book, The Genius of Venice: Piazza San Marco and the Making of the Republic, with Rizzoli Ex Libris, an imprint of Rizzoli International. The book provides a comprehensive explanation of the architectural evolution of St. Mark’s Square, a supreme example of Western communal architecture, and shows how Venetian politics and economics influenced the square’s development.
