Eddie Dean

Eddie Dean (Col ’86 CM) published his third book, Kentucky Traveler: My Life in Music, a collaboration with bluegrass and country musician Ricky Skaggs. His previous title, Man of Constant Sorrow: My Life and Times, co-authored with mountain music legend and fellow Virginian Ralph Stanley, was selected as an editor’s choice and one of the top ten biographies of 2009 by Booklist. Mr. Dean’s work has been included in the Da Capo Best Music Writing anthology series and he is a frequent contributor to the Wall Street Journal, among other publications.
