Andrew McCoy (Arch ’97) , associate professor and assistant director of the Myers-Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech, has been reappointed a Preston and Catherine White Fellow. Mr. McCoy also directs the Virginia Center for Housing Research, a center in Tech’s College of Architecture and Urban Studies that is the official housing research center for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Andrew McCoy (Arch ’97) has been named a Preston and Catherine White Fellow by the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors. He is an associate professor and assistant director of the Myers-Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate building construction courses that give students practical experience working on estimating and project management of real construction projects, and advises the student Habitat for Humanity organization. Mr. McCoy is also co-principal investigator on a five-year National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health/Centers for Disease Control research project, a joint venture between Virginia Tech and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia.
