Zia Ahmed

Zia Ahmed (Grad ’82 CM) is the founder and managing director of Small Enterprise Assistance Funds Bangladesh Ventures, which invests in small and medium enterprises in Bangladesh. He is also the founder and chairman of the board of directors for Venture Investment Partners Bangladesh Limited, which invests in micro and small enterprises in Bangladesh. His elder son, Zuhayr N. Ahmed (Engr ’16) began his first year at U.Va. this fall.
