John Werren

John Werren (Col ’75) was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences on Oct. 6, 2012. The American Academy, founded in 1780, is an independent research center that draws from its members’ expertise to conduct studies in science and technology policy, global security, the humanities and culture, social policy and education. Mr. Werren is the Nathaniel and Helen Wisch Professor of Biology at the University of Rochester. His research interests are in evolutionary genetics.
