Tonia Anderson

Tonia Sanborn Anderson (Col ’93 L/M) and Scott Anderson (Col ’93 L/M) live outside of Memphis, Tenn. with their sons: Ben, 10; and Sean, 7. Ms. Anderson serves as the western Tennessee gleaning coordinator for the Society of St. Andrew, a national nonprofit that seeks to reduce both food waste and hunger by partnering with farmers to collect surplus produce and distribute it to those in need. Mr. Anderson serves as the director of outreach for the Common Application, a membership association of nearly 500 colleges and universities, including U.Va., that promotes college access through holistic admission.
