William Crawford Jr. (Com ’72 L/M) has been practicing law in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., since 1975. In 1989, he won the Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award for lawyers practicing in Broward County, Fla. He won the Florida Historical Society’s Rembert Patrick Award in 2008 for publishing Florida’s Big Dig, the story of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. Mr. Crawford was named citizen of the year by the Fort Lauderdale City Commission for the year 2004. His essay on New York landscape architect Richard Schermerhorn Jr. appears in the book Shaping the American Landscape, published in 2009 by University of Virginia Press.
