Michael Perfater

Michael Perfater (Col ’69 L/M) retired May 1, 2011, from VDOT’s Virginia Transportation Research Council after more than 44 years of service. He spent the last four years of his tenure there as the acting director of research operations, wherein he oversaw VDOT’s program of research in the Commonwealth. He lives with his wife, Cindy, in the Ivy area of Albemarle County, Va.
