Diane Takata Powell (Com ’97 L/M) and her husband, Ben, welcomed a son, William Makoto, on Dec. 29, 2011. William joins a brother, Chip, 2. The family resides in Charlotte, N.C., where Ms. Powell works as an administrator for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
