Kathryn Lavelle (Grad ’90) published her second book with Oxford University Press, Legislating International Organizations: The US Congress, the IMF, and the World Bank, in October 2011. It explores the historical relationship among these institutions from their founding at Bretton Woods through the 2008 financial crisis. To research it, Ms. Lavelle served as a Congressional Fellow on the staff of the House Committee on Financial Services.
