John E. Schiller (Col ’79 L/M) a partner with the Cleveland, Ohio law firm of Walter & Haverfield, was honored for his professional rectitude by entrepreneur David H. Jacobs Jr., who donated $1.5 Million dollars to the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University at Bloomington to endow the “John E. Schiller Chair in Legal Ethics.” Professor Hannah Buxbaum has been selected as the first professor to hold the John E. Schiller Chair.
