Raymond Almond

Raymond C. Almond Jr. (Arch ’74) retired after 30 years of designing for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command’s Design Division in January 2005. He is married to Sydney Sue “Suzi” Meredith (Col ’74) who owns and operates Body and Soul Pilates Studio in Norfolk, Va. Mr. Almond designed his first home and completed their retirement home overlooking the Nansemond River in Suffolk, Va. Mr. Almond now has time to paint landscapes and perform woodworking projects in the years ahead.
