Tara Osborn

Tara A. Osborn (Grad ’84 L/M), a colonel in the U.S. Army, has been appointed to a second judicial term and named chief circuit judge for the Army’s 2nd Judicial Circuit. She presides over felony criminal trials and oversees judicial operations at military installations throughout the seven southeastern states. Prior to joining the federal bench, Col. Osborn served as a prosecutor and a civil litigator with the U.S. Army and Department of Defense, and as special counsel to the assistant attorney general, U.S. Department of Justice. She lives in Pinehurst, N.C.
