Bob Understein (Com ’63 CM)
Bob Understein (Com ’63 L/M) is president of the Nevada chapter of Financial Executives International, an association for chief financial officers and other senior finance executives throughout the U.S. and Canada, whose members consist of most of the Fortune 500 companies. Founded in 1931, FEI’s mission is to advance the success of senior-level financial executives, their organizations and the profession, and consists of over 12,000 members. In April, Mr. Understein was the national chair for the FEI Annual Summit held in Las Vegas. Mr. Understein serves on the advisory board of the McIntire School of Commerce and previously served on the U.Va. Alumni Board of Managers, where he was the national chairman for the Jefferson Scholars Program from 1986-88.
