Deisy Lemus-Suarez

Deisy Yamile Lemus-Suarez (Col ’02 L/M) and Gemal Jahi Brangman (Col ’02 L/M) were married in Alexandria, Va., on May 25, 2008, with many U.Va. alumni in attendance. Members of the wedding party included: Candice A. Hassell (Col ’02), Tamara Crawford (Col ’02), Emir Delic (Col ’02) and Lawrence E. Carter (Col ’02). During the ceremony Ms. Hassell recited a poem by Mauwse A. Dogbe (Col ’02). The couple resides in Arlington, Va. Ms. Brangman works in construction management with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. Mr. Brangman received a master’s degree in international commerce and policy from George Mason University in 2005 and is an international trade analyst for the U.S. Department of Commerce.
