Ivey Glendon (Col ’07) is the 2010 recipient of the Fritz Schwartz Serials Education Scholarship awarded by the North American Serials Interest Group. The award, which includes a $3,000 scholarship and a travel grant to the NASIG annual conference in Palm Springs, Calif., is conferred to a library and information science graduate student who demonstrates excellence in scholarship and potential for accomplishment in a serials career. Ms. Glendon is a digital conversion specialist in the serial and government publications division at the Library of Congress and is pursuing a Master of Science in Library and Information Studies through the distance education program at Florida State University.
