Daniel Chichester
Daniel Chichester (Col ’65, Law ’68 CM)
Daniel M. Chichester (Col ’65, Law ’68 L/M) is a Stafford Commonwealth attorney in Stafford, Va., and serves as vice president of the National District Attorney’s Association. The association represents 7,000 criminal prosecutors, including district attorneys, state’s attorneys, attorneys general and county and city prosecutors who are responsible for prosecuting criminal violations in the U.S. It seeks to improve and facilitate the administration of justice through involvement with various legislation and the promotion of public service and education. As vice president, Mr. Chichester is involved in the legislative and educational functions of the association. He is serving a three-year term. He has been a Stafford’s Commonwealth’s attorney since 1971. His office has grown from one attorney to an organization of 13 attorneys. He previously served on the NDAA’s board of directors as Virginia’s state director. He also serves as president of the Virginia Association of Commonwealth’s Attorneys.
