Charles H. Evans Jr. (Grad ’69, Med ’69 L/M) and his wife, Nancy, reside in Seattle near their daughter, Heather Evans (Col ’93, Grad ’04 L/M); son-in-law, Chris Baldwin; and grandsons, Miles, 2, and Nash, 6. Dr. Evans retired as professor and chair of human science at Georgetown University on July 1, 2009, after 40 years in biomedical research and teaching, the first 27 as chief of tumor biology at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Evans now plays the piano and sings as a tenor in the Magnolia Chorale and is involved in service activities with the Rotary Club of Magnolia in Seattle.
