Alison Travis (Col ’12) has been selected by the National Geographic Society and Lindblad Expeditions as a 2018 Grosvenor Teacher Fellow. In recognition of her commitment to geographic education, she will sail on a field expedition to the Galapagos Islands in September 2018. She will return to her school with knowledge and media to connect classroom learning to real-world experiences. She currently teaches first grade and lives in Boulder, Colorado, with her husband Ben Travis (Com ’12).
