Gunes Hopson (Col ’97, Law ’01 CM) has started her own travel business, Luxe Travel by Gunes. She provides curated luxury travel planning services to her clients, taking care of all the details so that they can relax.

Gunes Ozcan Hopson (Col ’97, Law ’01 CM) has joined Geronemus Law as of counsel. Geronemus Law is a law firm that provides concierge in-house attorney services. The firm provides dedicated legal services without the cost or commitment of a full-time general counsel, working with companies of all sizes and industries. Hopson also continues to enjoy providing concierge-level travel planning services through My Path Unwinding Travel, specializing in luxury and family travel.

Gunes continues to enjoy writing for her travel blog, fotogenictravel.com, and offers photography services through fotogenicrichmond.com. Additionally, she still practices law full-time as associate general counsel at Automattic, Inc.

Gunes Hopson (Col ’97, Law ’01 L/M), an avid traveler and uber-planner, is now an independent travel advisor affiliated with MEI-Travel. She provides complimentary concierge-style travel planning services. Gunes continues to enjoy writing for her travel blog, fotogenictravel.com, and offers photography services through fotogenicrichmond.com. Additionally, she still practices law full-time as associate general counsel at Automattic Inc.

Gunes Hopson (Col ’97, Law ’01 L/M) has joined Automattic/WordPress.com as associate general counsel and works with Paul Simienski (Law ’02), the general counsel. Being part of a company that powers over 30% of the internet inspired Ms. Hopson to start her own travel blog: fotogenictravel.com. Anecdotally, Ms. Hopson had a chance encounter with law professor A.E. Dick Howard at Bodo’s Bagels on the Corner when she was visiting the Grounds with her family in November 2018. Mr. Howard claimed that he remembered her as a student (maybe he was just being nice?), and he complimented her seven-year-old son regarding his wahoo gear.

Gunes Hopson (Col ’97, Law ’01 L/M) has launched her own part-time photography business, www.fotogenicrichmond.com,  in Richmond, Va., specializing in on-location portrait, pet and sports photography.
