Jeff Gowdy

Jeff Gowdy (Engr ’97) has been named a director of Sustainserv, a Zurich, Switzerland, and Boston-based corporate sustainability, analytics and communications firm, following the company’s acquisition of J. Gowdy Consulting, a 14-year-old Nashville-based sustainability consulting firm. Gowdy will participate in all aspects of business operations, including marketing, sales and service delivery across all aspects of Sustainserv’s portfolio. Thrice named a “Green Hero” by the Nashville Post, Gowdy has won several other awards, including the Nashville Emerging Leaders Award for Business Services and a Nashville Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award. Gowdy is a member of the Technical Advisory Group for the Science Based Targets initiative and has taught at the Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management in the Executive Development and MBA programs since 2011.
