Richard Danziger

Richard Danziger (Col ’81) is moving from Dakar, Senegal, where he has been the regional director for West and Central Africa for the International Organization for Migration, to Mogadishu, Somalia. He will be accredited to the Federal Republic of Somalia as chief of mission and will be responsible for overseeing programs assisting displaced Somalis, strengthening social cohesion and encouraging diaspora engagement. Danziger will continue to be involved in migration research and policy with other institutions such as the World Economic Forum and the Peace Research Institute of Oslo.
