Dr. Dan Vick (Col ’84 CM) assumed the role of Chief Medical Officer of MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, Maine, effective Mar. 28, 2022. MaineGeneral Medical Center is a 198-bed community hospital with 4,000 employees and over 600 medical staff members. Most recently, Dr. Vick was on the Graduate Teaching Faculty in the Master of Health Administration program at Central Michigan University.

Dan Vick (Col ’84 L/M) received a Doctorate in Health Administration from Central Michigan University in July 2017.  His dissertation topic was:  “An Assessment of Community Hospital Disaster Preparedness in New York State.”  Dr. Vick and his family also relocated from New York to Indiana this year where he assumed the role of Vice President of Medical Affairs for St. Vincent Evansville, a 475-bed hospital, and St. Vincent Warrick, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, in February.

Dan Vick (Col ’84) is vice president for medical affairs and chief medical officer of Oneida Healthcare in Oneida, N.Y. He serves as medical director for the organization’s 101-bed hospital and 160-bed extended-care facility. Dr. Vick was most recently a partner with St. Joseph’s Pathology Group in Syracuse, N.Y., where he also served as medical director for clinical chemistry and point-of-care testing at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center and medical advisor for microbiology for Laboratory Alliance of Central New York.
