Stephen Thorson (Res ’83) has written Joy and Poetic Imagination: Understanding C.S. Lewis’s “Great War” with Owen Barfield and its Significance for Lewis’s Conversion and Writings (Winged Lion Press). The book explains a part of Lewis’ conversion to Christianity that is often misunderstood or ignored by Lewis scholars.
