Annie Cardi (Col ’06 CM) published her debut young adult novel, The Chance You Won’t Return, with Candlewick Press. The book has received starred reviews from Kirkus Reviews and Publishers Weekly. Ms. Cardi lives and writes in Newton, Mass.

Annie Cardi (Col ’06 L/M) married Walt McGough (Col ’06) on Nov. 5, 2011, in Charlottesville. Ms. Cardi is the daughter of Stephen A. Cardi (Law ’66). Mr. McGough is the son of W. Thomas McGough Jr. (Law ’78 L/M) and Rebecca McGough (Nurs ’76 L/M). The wedding party included Aylin Skroejer (Col ’06, Law ’09 L/M), Veronica Daher (Col ’06), Kara Dowe (Engr ’06 L/M), Catherine Donnellan (Col ’06 L/M), Maria Meriwether (Col ’06), Horace Ballard (Col ’06 L/M), Chat Hull (Col ’06 L/M) and Jonathan Green (Col ’07). The couple currently lives in Brookline, Mass.
