David Need

David Need (Grad ’93, Grad ’04) is a visiting instructor in the department of religious studies at Duke University. He recently published Roses: The Late French Poetry of Rainier Maria Rilke, pairing each of Rilke’s 27 Roses poems in the original French with English translations and a scholarly essay, illustrated with pen-and-ink drawings by Clare Johnson.
