Holly Loiseau (Col ’91)
Holly Loiseau (Col ’91) is president-elect of the Women’s Bar Association of Washington, D.C. Ms. Loiseau is a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of the law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges. Her term as president will begin in May 2010. A member of Weil Gotshal’s Complex Commercial Litigation and Product Liability practices, Ms. Loiseau has litigated cases across a variety of disciplines and has extensive experience coordinating class actions and multi-jurisdictional cases for clients in various industries and has successfully advised clients in grand jury proceedings and Congressional investigations. Ms. Loiseau has been a member of the WBA since 2003 and has served on its board of directors since 2007. In March 2008, she led the effort for the WBA’s “Creating Pathways to Success for All” program, which focused on challenges facing women of color as part of the association’s ongoing “Initiative on Retention and Advancement of Women.” At Weil Gotshal, she is an active participant in the “Women@Weil” program, the Diversity Committee and the Black Attorney Affinity group. She is also a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association and the D.C. Minority Attorney Networking Series; she has previously held positions as an appointed member of the American Bar Association and as the deputy chief of staff to President Vanita Banks at the National Bar Association.
