John Armstrong

John H. Armstrong (Med ’88 CM) has been reelected as vice speaker of the American Medical Association House of Delegates. He is one of two presiding officers for biannual meetings of 793 delegates and serves on the AMA Board of Trustees as well. He completed five years of service on the 18-member U.S. Defense Health Board and chaired its Trauma and Injury Subcommittee, which developed two seminal reports on military health system readiness for large scale combat operations.
