Steve Odabashian

Steve Odabashian (Col ’91) and Hooshere Bezdikian (Col ’91 CM) performed during the ceremonial dedication of the Armenian Heritage Walk on April 26, 2026, in Philadelphia. Odabashian, a pianist, and Bezdikian, a vocalist, performed a mix of pop songs and traditional and modern Armenian songs. Kurk Selverian, son of the late Steve Selverian (Educ ’61 CM), gave the keynote speech. Over 1000 guests attended, despite the torrential downpour immediately preceding the ceremony.

Bezdikian performed with the Sil’hooettes during her time at UVA, and Odabashian performed on the piano at his 25th and 35th UVA Reunions.
