Jason Sneed (Col ’02 CM) opened an individual medical practice, Old Dominion Osteopathic Medicine, in Fredericksburg, Va. Dr. Sneed is the only physician specializing in osteopathic manipulative medicine and neuromusculoskeletal medicine in the Fredericksburg area.

Joshua Hawley-Molloy (Med ’99) and his husband, Johnathon, welcomed their first child, a daughter, Kylie Sharon, on March 23, 2013.

Jan Hundley (Nurs ’77 CM) published three books, Grownups Have Problems, Too; A Llama That Swims; and Vali, A Special Calf, for use in child and adolescent therapy.

Caroline Sciullo (Col ’03 CM) and Luca Sciullo (Col ’03) welcomed a daughter, Sophie Elisabeth, on March 27, 2013. Sophie joins big brothers Luca Joseph Jr., “Luc,” 5; and Marc Madec, 3. Mr. Sciullo is a managing partner of ASET Partners Corp., a government consulting services firm in Alexandria. The family resides in Ashburn, Va.

Stephen Baker (Engr ’10 CM) and Georgia Elizabeth Louisa Eddy were married on March 30, 2013, in Ms. Eddy’s hometown of Inverell, New South Wales, Australia. The couple resides in Brisbane, Australia, where Mr. Baker works as a medical device engineer for Vaxxas, a start-up company focused on needle-free vaccine delivery technology.

Lance Hedrick (Col ’96 CM) and Michele Murphy were married on Nov. 11, 2012, at Wente Vineyards in Livermore, Calif. The couple resides in Fairfax, Va. The groomsmen were all Wahoos: Mark Hedrick (Educ ’86), David Adams (Engr ’96 L/M), and Oliver Straubenmueller (Col ’96).

Wesley Martin (Col ’97 CM) and his wife, Carlene Rosado-Martin, welcomed their first child, Liliana Grace, on March 16, 2013.

Walter Calvert (Com ’83 CM) has been named the “Baltimore Tax Law Lawyer of the Year” for 2013 by the Best Lawyers in America. He has been selected for inclusion in the tax law category of this publication annually since 2007. Mr. Calvert is a partner in the tax and wealth planning group of the Venable firm in its Baltimore and Washington, D.C., offices. He regularly advises clients about tax planning and controversies, state and local taxation and public finance.

Rory Francisco (Col ’07 CM) is the president and founder of Virginia AirLink, a licensed transportation provider that serves Richmond International Airport and offers discounted door-to-door airport transportation in the Richmond area. Mr. Francisco lives in Richmond.

Jacquelyn Humphreys (Com ’04 CM) and Adam Humphreys (Col ’04) welcomed a daughter, Emily Adele, on March 7, 2013. Emily joins big brother Caleb, 2. The family resides in Fairfax, Va.

Charlie Cameron (Engr ’11 CM) and Greta Slotness (Engr ’12 L/M) were married on July 28, 2012, in Orange, Va. The couple resides in New Mexico, where both Mr. and Ms. Cameron are active duty officers in the U.S. Air Force.

Preston Green (Col ’89 CM) will join the University of Connecticut faculty in the fall of 2013 as the Carla Klein Endowed Professor of Urban Education in the Neag School of Education. He will also have a joint appointment with the University of Connecticut School of Law. Previously, Mr. Green was the Batschelet Chaired Professor of Educational Administration and professor of education and law at Pennsylvania State University.

Lu Ann Maciulla McNabb (Col ’79 L/M) is president of the board of directors of Angel Fund, an initiative that works to create a safe environment where young people can feel respected, self-confident and tolerant of others. Angel Fund believes that young people have the power to touch the lives of others and make a difference, and it envisions a community that takes action against bullying, addiction, depression and suicide through education, activity and advocacy. The fund honors the memory of Reema Samaha, one of the 32 people killed at Virginia Tech on April 16, 2007.

Simeon Taft (Col ’99 CM) and his wife, Heidi, welcomed a son, George, on March 22, 2013. The family resides in Fredericksburg, Va., where Dr. Taft is a veterinarian and Ms. Taft is a nurse practitioner.

Cristina Wallace (Col ’01 CM) and William J. Wallace IV (Col ’97) welcomed their first child, William J. “Quinton” Wallace V, on July 7, 2012. The family resides in Arlington, Va.
