Rachel Bartron (Educ ’01)

Rachel Bartron (Educ ’01) is the director of the Louis Maslow Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics program at Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School in Kingston, Penn. Ms. Bartron is developing and implementing a STEM curriculum at Sem’s Upper and Lower Schools.
Thomas Routten (Col ’00 CM)
Thomas Routten (Col ’00 CM) and Christan Carol Routten (Col ’01 L/M) welcomed their first child, Connor Reed, on Sept. 12, 2012. The family resides in Manteo, N.C. Connor is the nephew of Erin Elizabeth Routten (Col ’04, Educ ’04).

Christopher Gill (Col ’00 CM)
Christopher Gill (Col ’00 CM) is a partner at Christian & Barton, a broad-based civil law firm in Richmond, Va. Mr. Gill focuses his legal practice on commercial real estate, finance and environmental matters. He is a founding co-chair of the Legal Food Frenzy, a collaborative program of the Virginia Bar Association and the Attorney General’s office that raises food and donations for food banks around the Commonwealth. Prior to joining Christian & Barton, he was a judicial clerk to Virginia Beach Circuit Court Judges Edward W. Hanson Jr. and A. Bonwill Shockley. Mr. Gill holds the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification, which demonstrates a depth of knowledge in green building practices.

Christine Toes (Col ’99 CM)
Christine Toes (Col ’99 CM) married Philip Muldoon on Sept. 22, 2012. Ms. Toes is a past president of the Virginia Club of New York City. The couple resides in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Traci Thompson (Col ’99)
Traci Thompson (Col ’99) is a partner in the Baton Rouge, La., office of Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson. She is an attorney in the firm’s health care section, where she focuses her practice on a wide range of compliance and regulatory matters and has experience representing hospitals and health systems, physicians, pharmacies and other health care-related entities. She advises providers with respect to licensure and regulatory matters, Medicare, Medicaid and other reimbursement issues.

Belinda Jones (Col ’99 CM)
Belinda Jones (Col ’99 CM) is a partner at Christian & Barton, a broad-based civil law firm in Richmond, Va. Ms. Jones is a commercial litigation attorney who represents clients in contractual disputes, health care, products liability, intellectual property and construction matters. Her bar leadership includes service on the Administration of Justice, Continuing Legal Education and Bench-Bar committees for the Bar Association of the City of Richmond, and she is a member of the John Marshall American Inn of Court.

Erin Sloane (Col ’98 CM) is a partner in the litigation, controversy and securities departments of WilmerHale’s New York City office. Her practice focuses on government and internal investigations and white-collar criminal matters.
Edwina Fitch (Col ’97 CM)
Edwina Fitch (Col ’97 CM) and her husband, Justin, welcomed their second child, George Bramhall, on Oct. 10, 2012. George joins a big brother, Henry. The Fitches reside in Jackson, Miss.
Oni Buchanan (Col ’97)
Oni Buchanan (Col ’97) has published a book of poetry, Must A Violence, with the University of Iowa Press. The collection of poems sounds out the problem of how to respond to violence and the domestication of that which is wild.
Stanley Tarr (Col ’93 CM)
Stanley Tarr (Col ’93 CM) has been elected partner of the Wilmington, Del., office of Blank Rome. He concentrates his legal practice on bankruptcy and business reorganization matters. Mr. Tarr represents debtors, creditors’ committees, hedge funds, institutional investors, asset purchasers, equipment lessors and other parties across a wide range of industries in connection with Chapter 11 and reorganizations; out-of-court workouts and corporate restructuring; debtor-in-possession financing; and creditors’ rights and remedies. He also coaches baseball, basketball and lacrosse for the Unionville Recreation Association in Unionville, Penn., and coaches football for the Kennett-Unionville Titans.
Ronnie Price (Grad ’93)
Ronnie Price (Grad ’93) is the associate vice president for human resources at The College of William & Mary. Mr. Price lives in the Charlottesville area with his wife and son. He spends his free time hiking, biking and playing the guitar.
Robert Corser (Arch ’93)
Robert Corser (Arch ’93) has received recognition as one of the 30 most admired educators in design for 2013 by DesignIntelligence magazine. Mr. Corser is an assistant professor of architecture at the University of Washington. A licensed architect in the state of California, his professional experience includes work in San Francisco and London.
Stacey Pharr (Col ’92 CM)
Stacey Pharr (Col ’92 CM) has been included among Business North Carolina magazine’s 2013 “Legal Elite” list for her work in construction law. Her practice is in general civil litigation in both federal and state courts, handling matters in general commercial litigation, construction law, professional liability, products liability and real estate litigation.
Aaron Peck (Com ’92 CM)
Aaron Peck (Com ’92 CM) is chief financial officer, chief investment officer and chief compliance officer for Monroe Capital Corp., a newly formed publicly traded lower-middle market lending fund in Chicago. He lives in Deerfield, Ill., with his wife and three children.
Sandra Chinn-Gilstrap (Col ’92)
Sandra Chinn-Gilstrap (Col ’92) joined the Danville, Va. office of Woods Rogers PLC in October 2012. Of counsel to the firm, Ms. Chinn-Gilstrap is known for her trial practice and advocacy for family and domestic law clients and mental health patients. Formerly a solo practitioner, she served on the first Supreme Court of Virginia Mental Health Task Force on Rules of Court, which promotes professional standards for mental health cases and drafts statewide rules.
David Belmonte (Col ’92)
David Belmonte (Col ’92) , clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Michigan, has been appointed director of medical student education for the department of psychiatry.

Carlyle Wimbish (Law ’90)
Carlyle Wimbish (Law ’90) is an attorney with Sands Anderson in Richmond, Va. He has spent his entire legal career as a member of the firm’s health care group, serving as the group’s leader for the last 12 years. Elected to the Sands Anderson board of directors at the shareholders’ meeting on Jan. 16, 2013, he focuses his practice in the area of medical professional liability defense in courts throughout Virginia.
Claire Ngo (Col ’90)
Claire Ngo (Col ’90) is a member of the 2012 class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute. The fellowship program seeks to develop the next generation of community-spirited leaders. In 2008, Ms. Ngo established CMN Consultancy, an advisory and coaching business aimed at fostering talent development in Asia. She previously worked for Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch.
